You can tell from our new look that the makeover has begun here at the SC Bankruptcy and Consumer Law Blog. Here are a few of the changs already made, and what you can expect in the near future!
First, our home page looks very different. Whereas formerly the entire page was pretty much devoted to the most recent 10 posts, along with a small-font navigational sidebar, now we have a much cleaner and hopefully easier-to-read appearance on our home page, which will feature an excerpt from the most recent post in the prime position (above the fold, left corner); a listing of the most recent posts to the right of the excerpt by title, date, and author (so you can see which posts Däna wrote, and which ones Sheryl wrote); and then to the far right, in a typeface that’s cleaner and more legible, we feel, a listing of our categories, which have also been tightened and cleaned up a bit.
Where did the blog posts go? They’re still here! You can get to them in several ways:
Eventually, we’re going to have links on the home page to other content - video, anyone? - and to the blog as a whole. We’re also creating something pretty exciting, I think, and unique to the web: a comprehensive guide to bankruptcy, foreclosure law, and debt collection laws in South Carolina, which will be freely and fully accessible ONLY at this blog.
What else can you expect in the future? We’re planning some guest posts written by some very smart people who happen to be excellent writers, to boot. We hope this will expose our SC audience to more diverse viewpoints and help educate SC consumers on their rights and their incredibly important position in the larger context of US law, policy, and economy. Heady stuff! We’ll also be instituting a weekly “mail bag” feature - where YOU decide what we write about via our Contact page. Just submit your question and we’ll answer it in a post here!
There’s more - but I don’t want to spoil the surprise. For the rest, you’ll just have to keep coming back to check us out!
